"Short notice impossible to re-arrange"

I received notice of my appointment on the Friday before the Bank Holiday for the Tuesday directly after- I tried to call to re-arrange and was cut off after waiting 5 mins - I called back and after another 5 mins was told rather abruptly to call back again. I did and was told quite rudely that they were experiencing computer problems and I'd have to call another number. I took the new number and called them only to receive no reply. I now have to try and get into their website however I have now wasted nearly an hour - this is poor service!.
