"Lovely family pub but let down by poor glasses"

This pub has been my local for many years and I love it dearly. It has always been a friendly family pub with good staff and amenities, gardens etc. However it is let down by it's poor ( old maybe ) glasses where lager is concerned. Whatever lager you drink, be it Carlsberg, Carling or Becks( I can't afford the Stella or San Miguel), you take pot luck on whether you get a good glass or a dead one. This is either down to the glasses not being dried enough or that they are passed their sell by date. You order two of, for instance Carlsberg and one maybe full of life and the other totally flat. Ok as regulars we have no qualms about asking for the glass to be changed and, because the staff are really good, they always are changed, but newcomers to the pub may not feel comfortable enough to complain and just put up with it. Those customers are unlikely to return. It's a shame because in all other respect it's a lovely family pub..
